Few questions I need cleared up (if you have time)

I've got enough experience with car audio to know what I'm talking about, so generally my friends began to ask for help/service to install their car audio equipment.

I'm runing a 15" Fosgate sub in my car with a 300 watt (x1) Profile amp, works good, its enough power for my small eclipse. But because Im running a single sub, I'm still not too up to par when it comes to wiring dual subs.

Question #1: Most lower-end amps seem to deliver power either at RMS X 2 @ 2/4 ohms or RMS X 1 @ 4 ohms. I'm looking at cheaper amps (as my friends are well, 16 like me). Advertising on these amps is poor, but as far as I tell, they will not do RMS X 1 @ 2 ohms, meaning Two 4 ohm subs bridged will not work.

Question #2: Bridging Vs 2-channel. Is there a large advantage to bridging two subs rather than each using a separate channel? Using splitters I could make the input cables the same on both channels, so that eliminates two separate bass notes hitting. This method would allow Two 4-ohm subwoofers to run at RMS X 2 @ 4 ohms, rather than 2 or 8 ohms bridged (Im asking because subs in ? are 4 ohms each).

Question # 3: Appropriate wattage. Two low end (AKA, Dual, Sony brand) 12" subwoofers in a sealed bandpass enclosure would need about what wattage to sound decent (either bridged or 2 channel, this is for a separate friend than ? # 2). 100 watch each ok? (of course its less than advertised rates). 150 each? 200 each? Would a 300 watt RMS sub like I"m running drive two cheap 12" hard enough?

Thats it for now, my biggest challange will be interfacing a new head unit with Two 12" subs in a Firebird with stock Monsoon componant system. I'll save that for another thread. Obviously I'm not running high end stuff here, as we're still teenagers and don't have much money, so please hold the flames about the brands and quality being purchased. Its meant to sound better than stock audio in our 92-97 model cars, nothing more. Thanks a ton.
