Fat Mat flaky, Dynamat mega$, what now?

I was all ready to order Fat Mat, being the sound deadener of choice for many members here and on other audio bb's.

'cept they seem to getting bad posts, they don't reply to my mail and the phone number is out of action. so they're toast as far as my $ are concerned.

so what's the next best? I'd like the effect of Dynamat Extreem, without having to pay the price of a mission to mars. I also liked the sound of fatmat floor mat, does anyone else do similar?

I've got all my gear, just waiting to strip the interior to wire up and sound-deaden at the same time, so this is going to hold up installation until I find something I can trust.

Yeah bad customer service is a big turn off. Dynamat Xtreme is costly. Especially when purchased from retail stores. It does work rather nice though. Maybe you should install and see exactly how bad things rattle before deadening everything. You may not need as much as you think.

and that way when you do dampen you can compare before and after results so y ou will know who well your money was spent.

when you dampen before the system it is hard to appreciate the damping..

It's always good to sound deadener you car/truck, helps with road noise/rattles, and helps keep the sound in your car where you want it. Brown Bread works very good, so does Second Skin. Look up on both those proudcts, they both work just as good if not better then Dynamat Xtream if not better for cheaper.

I got a Dynamat Extreme bulk pack on ebay for $117 shipped. The local stores are wanting $249 for the bulk pack.
