I just got in a brand new Atomic 800.1, but would like to sell/trade it. It supposedly does 1500w @ 1 ohm and 2500w @ 1/2 ohm. The reason I would like to sell/trade this amp, is that I bought it to compete in USACi 1-300, but the amp was deemed a cheater amp by USACi (http://www.carsound.com/cgi-bin/UBB_CGI/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=8;t=006185;p=0).

I'd like to sell it for what I paid for it ($380 shipped), or would be willing to trade it for an amp that is 1 ohm stable and is rated under 300w @ 4 ohms by USACi. Some amps I'd consider for a trade are the Kicker KX1200.1 or Memphis 16-MC1000D. If you have anything else that puts out +1000w @ 1 ohm, I'd consider it. Also would consider a trade for 2 visor monitors for my 02 GMC truck.

Email me @ x6369x@yahoo.com.

Thanks.

You should have just got the AB 75.1 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif...

Bump for an Atomic 800.1(with 1500.1 board)....they were some great amps for usaci till now...

I know, I know //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/banghead.gif.8606515f668c74f6de0281deb475b6fd.gif ... I was originally gonna get a Kicker KX1200.1, but I left someone coax me into trying the Atomic. I know the Kicker won't get protested.

BTW, thanks for the bump. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/clap.gif.178cba2c538c68e720c727fcb024b19c.gif

lol, dont be so sure. The dynamic rating is higher than 300@4 in the owners manual on some models. I got rid of mine.

The Memphis MC1000 and the VR1000 are the same amp just so you know.

We use the Crossfire's (same amp) in 301-900. We've got them strapped to a .9ohm load and they take it fine. They have more wins in competition history than other amps. If you have more ??'s send me a PM rather than doing it here.

I have an Audiobahn A12001DT that is rated at 400x1 @ 4ohm mono. I don't know if that will help you or not. I tried to get the specs on your atomic 800 but I have not found anywhere that will give me a straight out answer. Can you give me the rms specs on your amp?

Sorry, but 400w@4 ohms is too much for the class I'm trying to stay in ...

Straight from Atomic/George's (805.278.4087) mouth ...

RMS:

300w@4 ohms

800w@2 ohms

1500w@1 ohm

2500w@1/2 ohm-burps only

I looked on the AB site and couldn't find the D1000. You sure it's not the XD1000?

Got any pics? What's the 4 ohm rating?
