So as of tomorrow I'm officially deployed working for free....the Republicans have a bill thats stuck in the Senate to fund the military for the rest of the year but its being held up by Harry Reed. If it does go through Obuma already said he would veto it. I'm neither dem or repub. but I pissed as hell that you sent me over here and now I don't have a paycheck??? WTMF!!!

So what if you are going to back pay me whenever you do come to an agreement on funds. I still have to go how many weeks without a paycheck? Guess some of my bills aren't getting paid, glad I have some savings.

So over all FUCK YOU OBUMA, CHANGE MY ASS.....AND FUCK YOU GOVERNMENT!!!

I hate all politicians honestly.. Every politician republican and democrat fill pockets with tax dollars. Military spending / weapons contracts all fill pockets

Both sides already decided they're letting this shutdown happen instead of working together and solving this ****, and the ****** thing is they still get paid for letting it happen too

Why are u blaming obama? Blame the incumbents that wanted to slash spending. Heck blame all thevoters that are so against "big government" that they voted for all these union busting, budget destroying knuckleheads. 1 man isn't causing this, this is more a congressional issue.

While I agree this is a congressional issue, Id hardly say the 'big govt' politicians are the good guys here. Our govt wastes money hand over fist, while the average guy these days struggles just to pay his power bill to keep hid family warm and fill his gas tank so he can drive to his lousy underpaid job. Most unions aren't a lot better, as they simply have their hand out, demanding their piece of the pie.

But yes, as thegreatestpenn posted, I suspect they will come to some last minute decision that ends this ridiculousness (until the next time). Washington isn't going to give up the goose that lays their golden eggs by pissing everyone off enough to realize that as a govt, we could do much, much better.
