I just bought a 2001 Infiniti QX4 and i'm looking to put a system in it. I'm starting out with just the component speakers. I was looking at the

Infinity Kappa Perfects

Diamond Audio Hex or

MB Quarts

What do you guys recommend...i'm open to suggestions and i don't really car about price. thanks

two words....

focal kevlars. if price isn't an object then you should really check these out. a 6.5 set will set you back around $500+/- but they are worth the money!

oh yea, i couldn't afford kevlars so i settled for the polyglass 6.5's and paid just over $300. they are are their way in soon!

You'll be happy with any of these. I have a set of Q Series MBQuarts, but wot I found out when looking around is try to listen to as many as you can. I listened to Focal Utopia's, MBQ, CDT and a/d/s & my frined has had OZ and Chameleon's in his car & they are fantastic. Oh n get a good amp too if u gonna use any of the above, something like a nice Xtant or some ****.

But above all, as someone else said to me, its not how much they cost or who says wot. Its when u think u got dat perfect sound u lookin for - thats when u found the best components.

pick the set that you feel works best (mounts) in your car and if u want bestest (hehe) wait for the cdt euro line to come out but any of these speakers he mentioned are really good as are a few others jl audio, memphis, kove................... but i like his list

YOu guys been helpng a lot, but i can't find any info on the ID Chameleons...but i'm going to go listen to some speakers this weekend. The Boston Acoustics Pro Seriers 6.5 400 Watts??? Thats max right, it says recommended on the site. I talked to a guy at the local stereo shop and he's totally set on the Diamond Audio Hex system, but I couldn't listen to em cuz someone brole his ish. Anybody ever heard em??

I have a xtant 4180c on my hi's and it is awesome amp i have some infinti kappa 6.5 triaxil's with some mbquart qm tweets for my fronts and i have 6x9 triaxil's in the rear with quart qm tweets and it sounds really nice im also running a alpine era-g320 graphic eq wish a clarion dxz925 head unit i had quarts all in there and they are some really good sounding speakers but if you got the do go with focal or boston acoustic pro's they have some really detailed sound to them

diamond's are good speakers my father is running all m5 series with a xtr 500.4 orion and they sound really good the m5 and the hex arent to much diffent the hex handle more wattage and comes with a silk dome tweet thats the only difference as fas as sound they sound about the same the tweets have a little more smothness to them then the m5 but my dad is running the 6.5 component set and the 4 component set in a 2001 chevy s10 and it sounds dam good and he is running a clarion 9675 the one with the bilt in dph its up to you listen before purchasing

So far i've only listened to the Boston Pro Series, so i like them the best so far....basically i've just been going to stores (only 2 so far) and telling them i want for about 600, clean tight bass, full mids and crisp highs, and they both say Boston. I haven't really gone out to listen, but i'll bring up the other brands when i do tomorrow.

'sup giodi. go to http://www.imagedynamicsusa.com & find the chameleons/ they do a 2ohm set and a 4ohm set, the 2ohm is just louder, thats it. v.good speakers - I RECOMMEND U GO & AUDITION THEM $YO self & TELL US WOT U THOUGHT. Theyre not that expensive either, nota s expensive as Bostons and Diamond, anywayz - under $300 for a 6.5 on net!!! U heard some Synaudio or a/d/s yet??? V.good2.
