could the stock amplifier on an 03 silverado LS handle 1100 watts (91 amp draw) with ease. i dont know the size of the alt but i think its fairly big.....any1 have any idea

do you mean stock alternator? As for that look on your alt and see what its rating is, or call a shop like I had to do.

stock alternator for a 99-02 chevy silverado is rated 105 amps...you should be ok...i doubt you will be cranking it that loud to use 1100 watts

are u running that amp at 1 ohm?????? if so then i guess i have nothin to worry about but u prolly got ur gains way down so u dont blow them vr's

its at 2 ohms, but should it matter? the sub load dictates the output not the input
