I like Anberlin and Motion City Soundtrack, but i haven't heard of the other bands. I've met some pretty cool "emo" kids, a lot of them do piss me off. And I wouldn't be ragging on style if I went around looking like Eminem, lol. Now if they were pricks to you because you dressed different, that's a different story.

well wearing american eagle doesnt make you a prep at all. here is the definition from dictionary.com

Also I can't stand emo kids! My fiance's one nephew just turned 15 and his little g/f is gothic! So he is a cross between goth and emo. I just want to drop a randy savage elbow off the top of the couch.
