Most of them are not stolen. They are honest wholesellers trying to make a living like the rest of us. If the seller has a high rating, then you are probally safe. Just read their feedbacks and use your judgement...
I just "won" an auction for a RF Punch 160.2 for $109.99. Good price, except:
The bastard charged $25 for shipping - UPS GROUND. It's been 11 days since I paid my money and the amp was just delivered today. The seller had over 6000 feedback points so I figured he was reputable.
I do business with the eBay guys all the time. Just keep these points in mind:
1) Ask about shipping charges if it's not shown in the description.
2) Don't hold your breath for delivery. If you're in a hurry, use SoundDomain and pay for 2nd day UPS.
3) Make sure the description says "New - Not Refurbished or Returns"
4) Use PayPal or your credit card so you have some backup if you get screwed.
I have heard of people being duped on with the paypal account. So nothing is always for sure on ebay. If you buy off ebay frequently, then you probably know a thing or two. But for first time buyers, I would suggest an online company, so you know who you are dealing with. Just my thoughts, I have ordered off ebay twice, for my kids, I ordered a baby bathing suit, and a shirt, they were like $5 each. I received the shirt, but the lady jipped me out of my $5 for the bathing suit, so I'm just glad that it wasn't more money, and I did try to contact her and sent her emails, but eventually I gave up.
Yeah, as long as the person you are buying from has a positive rating, you should be aight. Just make sure they don't try to over charge you for shipping man.
