Let's say I posted an item to sell on Ebay and the listing just ended today. However, the final bid wasn't enough...and so I wanted a little more $$ out of the item. How do I go about doing this??? Just relist it again or what??

You mean you had set a reserve price, yes?

If the bidders didn't meet your reserve, you can just relist the item, or send an email to the highest bidder to see if they'll take what you want for it.

If you had a reserve set and it wasnt met, you could email the guy who won and say that even though he didnt meet reserve, if he paid you XXX amount more you would sell to him. Worst thing he says is no. If you didnt set a reserve than thats your fault and you MUST sell for the ending auction price

you mean didn't meet reserve or wasn't what you wanted? if you didn't put reserve and just didn't get what you wanted, backing out of the deal isn't very kool. also they will certainly leave neg feedback

(B) If you did not put a reserve price on the item then whatever the Final Item Value is once the auction is over is the price at which you are legally bound to sell the item. (In this case $26.99 + $15.00 stated shipping for a total of $41.99)

If you choose not to sell the item for that price to eBay user alex-inc then that bidder can file a Non Performing Seller report against you and you'll earn yourself a ding on your eBay account. Three such dings can result in an indefinite suspension.

Aside from that if you choose not to sell at that price because you feel the bidding simply didn't go high enough then (i) You shouldn't have been so much of a tightass to spend the extra few cents to put a reserve price on your item and (ii) You're a slimeball for doing so, IMO. It is traders like yourself that are in part to blame for eBay having the horrific reputation that it has. What?? woah here....I was just merely asking a simple question. I ain't mad or anything. And prowler, nobody's perfect. I wasn't being a tightass at all. My feedback sucks due to a couple of people that don't quite understand how to do business....read before you open your mouth....in this case, type what you just typed. And prowler, who here is being dishonest about what?? Perhaps your the one being too quick thinking you know me instantly already. Perhaps you need to lay off a little and do some more reading up on me and perhaps read my feedback a little more.
