eBay Alternaotr....

I found a company on eBay that sells ONLY alternators. They're feedback is 98.2%, and the only negative feedback is within the last year, but it was a buyer error. The guy had a Civic Si with the B series motor, but this is for the D series motor. They have also sold stuff on eBay since 2002.

They claim to be 165 amperes, and they're pretty **** cheap too. ($157.05 to my door)

What are other good companies for an alternator for a 97' Civic (D16Y8)

EA quoted you $650 on a 165amp alternator? I didn't even pay half of that for my 250amp

have a local shop build it then test it to see if it gets close to what they said it puts out

i got my alt from iraggi 3 weeks after ordering it..not bad considering i live very far away

Stick with Iraggi if you dont want to spend a lot but becareful.

BTW dont buy that alt its remanufactured.......

My bad, EA wanted in excess of $500. H.O. Alts wanted $650 plus shipping.

Power Master does not make one for my application, no local shops around hear will touch it either.

One question though, As I have heard bad about Iraggi, EA, etc...what was so bad with them? Product failure? Bad customer rep???

EA and Iraggi are the opposite

-EA has great customer service. Emails and communication is present. DOAs are common, alternators fail after a short amount of time, and alternators don't put out rated power. Refunds are granted.

-Iraggi has no customer service. Emails and communication is almost immune. Alternators are excellent build quality. Refunds are almost never available.
