Im checking out my phone company's DSL packages (we currently have dial-up). They have a package with MSN ISP, or they have the same option but you choose your own ISP. I didn't think you needed an ISP for DSL? Don't you just hook it up, and go?

you purchase the dsl connection seperately from the actual internet service

i used to have an at&t connection, and brightnet service

dsl's expensive as shit, unless you can get a package

it's consistantly fast, tho, which is nice

Dont get MSN. Find a better ISP

http://www.dslreports.com is your friend. Find an ISP local people are happy with and choose them.

But you should be able to find one for not that much money.

I paid $20 a month for 4/1meg dsl ISP, like 4 years ago.

We have like nothing out here. In fact, we don't have DSL available in my area yet. But they say all it would take is for someone out here to order and they would set it up.

we have a satellite provider that offers 256kbs download for 19.99, and other speeds,well heres the site for that.

you have tons of options with qwest, including using qwest as an ISP.. not MSN.

dam dsl is cheap

im paying 70 or so a month for 10 mb cable

and 60 or so for my wireless 1 mb sprint card
