Ya know what, there has to be somethin goin on with my computer/connection. 817kbps on a 1.5mhz pcu (my laptop that shat on me) was getting downloads at 60-70kb/s. I just needa find out what the major malfuntion is with the desktop.

I used to mess with Linux back in the day pre-2000 and in those days, if you weren't even comfortable with using MS-DOS, Linux wasn't for you. Very non-user-friendly. You have to know stuff about computers & how they work in order to even run Linux.

But I think linux distros are more user-friendly & installation is just point & click...haven't looked at the Linux scene for a while...don't have the time to...
