Door pin option's.

Well, i kinda burnt my whole domelight circuit up, So i can no longer use door pin's to secure my door's [Atleast the stock one's.]

So i was wondering what my other options were, As far as securing my door's?

Drill for after market door pin's, and wire them in with my trunk and hood pin? One of the Infared sensor's for convertable's, ect?

This will only be temp, Untill i can get it in the shop to have it rewired.

I dont feel like crouching under the dash for 3-4 hours, when ive had an estimate of $180. Ill let them do it.

have it fixed right the first time and be done with it. everything else is gonna be the same time. the motion sensors are a ***** to adjust. drilling is a pain and hard in the door jam. GET IT FIXED

I don't understand how a bad dome light has anything to do with door pins? Not tryin 2 be mean, just curious, makes no sense to me.

because his domelight comes on when either his door handle is lifted or door is open. alot of cars use the dome light as their door triggers.

So how did you burn up the dome light? Did you check to see if you just blew the fuse?
