man all of RE's subs have gigantic motors!!!! These guys obviously do not worry about vehicle weight savings hehe
The HC had a biggass motor on it, at least thats what it looks like on RE's website, looks almost as big as the 's in the pics they have!

I hope they don't know who I am (my name hehe) but I'm really pissed with their time to get orders out. Not only that but I get 10 different stories from 10 different people on which subs will go out when. And then promises that are broken. I too have waited for my xxx for 2 months. FINALLY went out Yesterday psssst. I ordered a quad 2ohm when I was told by scott it would go out today, then talked to Dave and he says oh uuuuuhhhhhhhh duhhhhhhh scott was wrong, takes 2 weeks to special build a quad 2ohm blah blah blah, ****n waited 2 months and told them ahead of time what I needed and all they friggin did was build dual 2ohm. Whatever, so i saif fuk it and send out a dual 2ohm I'm not waiting any longer. Probably have to buy a new amp now since mine doesn't do full power at 1ohm but **** that **** dude, prolly never get the quad if I waited for it rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr........and Dave is a dick, "well uhhhhhhhh if you don't want it then whatever dude" **** that. I don't want to talk to that guy anymore. Mike is cool and Scott my god that dude rocks, but dave is an *******. Reason you are doing so good dick is because of me and other people like me payin your ass. So because you guys are doing good individual customers don't matter to Dave. Scott is the man though.

Anyway, yeah RE is like any other big company, not some kids sellin **** on ebay.

Their company is also a manufacturer. They are huge, don't worry lol they aren't going to rip you off hehe......

You ordered a subwoofer that was on BACKORDER. you were told before you placed yourself on a WAITING LIST that it could take a month or longer. You agreed fully to the situation, and were placed on the WAITING LIST. When the time came to fill your order, we contacted you and asked if you still wanted to purchase the speaker. You said yes and the order was processed. Your sub went out TWO DAYS later.

I remember you calling and complaining about how long it took to fill your order, and as I told you over the telephone.... EVERYONE HAD TO WAIT. When you were contacted about whether or not you wanted the sub you could have cancelled the order if it was such a big deal. If TWO DAYS wait for your order to be processed and shipped then I dont know what to tell you. Maybe go buy a JL?

Im pretty sure you're pissed because I was the bearer of bad news for you, but listen... I'm not going to lie, sugar-coat, or pad any situation for you. You were a complete ******* to me on the phone! You need to remember... I'm not a WalMart employee... I don't have to listen to you talk a bunch of smack at me bro. You knew the situation and opted to live with it...Dont call and gripe me out 2 days afterwards...If you're a "dick" to me then I'll be a "dick" right back. I'm not an asskisser, or a babysitter.

The thing to remember is that it takes respect to get respect. If you call, and jump down some random guy's throat you can't expect him to bend over backwards for you 10 seconds later. Hell... you hate me so much... if it wasnt for me your order would have taken even LONGER. I'm not as much of a DICK as you think I am.

 
i got my sub within 2 weeks after talking to David on the phone and it was a specially made sub. He was really nice and acted like an appropriate BUSINESSMAN to me. I have been nothing but pleased with RE's customer service.

David is a cool ass dude (even though we always make fun of him) if you ask me. I had a problem with my XXX and had a show coming up. He busted his ass to get it back to me in time for the show, and it did, the day before. Where else do you see company employees on forums helping out people that isnt an "official" forum. REs products and REs product support is top notch, thats why ill always rep my RE... Speaking of that, ill be having a few orders going through, david, for the new ride.

You spent money and got impatient... you have to remember it takes about 5 days to ship from las vegas where RE is located at to your doorstep via UPS. Lately RE has been flooded with orders and they have a few new lines being released so you have to realize that they arent going to work the world around you, but try to do what they can to satisfy you as an end customer. I also agree 100% to what david said. If you are an ******* to him, he has every right to be one back.

Keep in mind, this forum is also a breeding ground for popularity. I have seen other company owners on here, while most of them do help people, they also are advertising for themselves simply by being here. Notice while Dan Wiggins posted here, everyone wanted Adire?

As far as him having every right to be an ******* back, it isn't a smart thing to do. Fact is, that guy's money is in RE's pocket. If RE doesn't treat the customer with respect, the customer goes and tells others about what happened. I was a manager at OfficeMax for 2 years, though you don't take threats, abuse, or swearing.. you certainly can't tell the customer how you really feel. You have to adapt, be calm, and try to fix the situation by calming the customer. Anything else, you're written up or fired, bottom line.

 
that's the thing though, RE isn't your typical corporation that makes 100% of their employees be calm and courteous to customers 100% of the time even when they're wrong. i think RE's rep for the subs alone would be enough to make me want one whether they reply to an ******* customer that way or not. i'm sure a lot of other people feel the same way, judging by the backorders on nearly every sub they carry.

in other news.....i had originally paid David for a 12" SE and then realized that it was too big for my trunk. for a few extra bucks, he gladly hooked me up with a 10" SExxx instead with no complaints or problems. he could've just said "too bad, we're on backorder, you're stuck with that" and done nothing, but i appreciate it when someone goes out of their way to help me out like that.
