So looks like quake is the winner. Halo 2 would be the shit to play online. I never get tired of playing halo.

also buying HL2 on steam is a great value since you can get HL2/DoD Source and CS source plus the entire backlog of valve games for like $60... then you can load tons of mods for HL and HL2....

When it first came out if you had it on preorder, you could download and play the games. It was pretty neat messing around with the physics in CSS.

man i had like 3 of each guy on that game. my highest level was 80 legit and i had immortal kings set and 2 sojs and an amulet that added 3 to each skill and 500 hp. lol i was addicted for like 6 years straight. and if my laptop would handle it i would paly again

oh i could go on for hours.

i played in the 1.08 and 1.09 patch. i had a legit 99 in every character class except necromancer, and my necro was a 98.

i had like 5 different accounts, and i had two accounts that were PVP only characters. My necro seriously pimp slapped everyone.

i had windforce on all of my mercs, usually with some balrog armor if i could get their strength high enough using a +str helm.

one of my amazons mercs did more damage than my 99 druid.

i had a whirlwind barb(he was my 99) that did 5000 singlehand damage with WW with around 50% life leech

i also had a leap attack barb and people would laugh at me when i'd go into a pvp room, and be like 'omg such a noob, leap attack barb, kk thx bai' then i'd leap attack them doing 15000+ damage with my two handed sword and then just camp their corpse and keep getting gold off them lol.

but then the 1.10 patch came around and ****ed up all my characters because they added synergies to all the skills and basically turned my badass characters into little *****es.

Anybody ever do the ubertrist. I have one of the keys for it but I could never figure it out. I think you get a torch after you beat them.
