Did a nice install on a 06 STi

thats why I said g5 w/passive radiator..
No, no you didn't. If you said something like that there wouldn't have been more than one of us giving you shit.

Don't spit at us like we're dumb because you cannot speak engrish. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

That's all I got. Sweet cars.

That should be better than any horizontal mounting. It would allow for very efficient convection.
You would be absolutely correct, if it had cooling fins. But it doesn't. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
I may be wrong, but it appears to be a fan cooled unit. Im too lazy to look it up and verify that however.

But yes, normally mouting an amplifier with the fins facing up and down, rather than horizontal, is much more ideal.

I seriously doubt the 370 hp part, in fact I know it is complete BS. My sis has an 06 wrx and 300+ whp is quite a feat.

The Boston Amps Have Fins on the Back Sidethey are coverd by a fine mesh..

It has A fan between the amps..

Thanks for the props..

Peace Troy

Nice install.. trying to best figure out how to do something in my 07 STi.

Yeah, you can tell it isn't an STi from the shift knob, gauges, seats, wheels, fog light covers, and most importantly for an audio install, the STi has an intercooler sprayer tank on the right side of the trunk, where the amp is mounted in this car.

370 HP is possible... but his transmission sure won't last long.. ~300 AWHP is the max you can realistically put through it before stuff starts blowing up (depending on how you drive it of course).
