Diamond s600s, 2/4 Chan?

I just bought a set of Diamond Hex s600s, I'm using the Pioneer Premier 940mp which has a ton of tuning capabilities.

My question is, If i want to use my L/H pass filters on my headunit am I going to get a better quality sound wiring them directly to a 4 channel amp, as opposed to using a 2 channel amp + the diamond crossovers.

Any advice would be much appriciated.

you can do it one of two ways. easiest would be to keep the HU in normal mode and use teh x-overs supplied with the S600s. If the HU is in network mode you do up to an active 3-way setup, which is nice but unneeded if you don't want to bi-amp the components.

basicly if you are going to bridge the channels on the amp keep the HU in normal mode. If you are going to bi-amp them for more control then go full active in network mode.

Oh, and the HU uses 24dB/octave x-overs, so i would use those over the ones on amps anyday.

Thanks, I'll give the headunit a try, I've had it for about a year now and itchin to flip that network mode switch.
