DB Drive Subs

I heard a new sub today that an aquaintance had and i was quite impressed. They hav about the same design as the RE SE and come in 10s 12s and 15s ranging from 95-135 on epinions. The 10s and 12s handle 1500rms and the 15 handles 2000rms. For that low of price they sound amazingly good. Also they come in dual 2 or 4 ohm models. Right now Im awaiting a responce from the dealer about prices on some of there componet sets. If the price is right on those too ill be testing them out. I recomend anyone on the fourm to test out one of these subs because they are high on the "bang for the buck" factor. The guys box looked to be around 3cube for a single 12 ported...not sure what it was tuned too...possibly 35hz and the sq was awsome for being such a loud driver. I may just change my mind on the RE SE and get 1 of these and splurge a lil extra for an amp. He had 800rms running to it and it just pounded so I would probably go for the bx1000d.

Yeah I've heard some good things about those db drive PL's and for $150 shipped you really cant go wrong, good luck.

How did the speakers sound in the demo??? I wish this brand was better known but I think Im gonna go with a few of their products.

i think i might go for PL15D4 or a 12.

for the price even if it's not what i expected it still looks like it would be fun to try out.

Those subs are awesome I have 3 10's the main dealer is about 20 minutes from where I live. There name is D-tronics and they are very knowledgeable. They ahve some pretty cool installs in their website http://www.d-tronics.com Like I said I have 3 powered with an re amp they sound great and strong

i had a db12 with 400rms on a sealed box. it was really nice. i kinda miss it, then again i sold it to a friend and i still hear it quite often. it gets real low and has nice sq. i never ported it though, wish i had. the company is from the texas valley area. i also got mine from d-tronics.

ohh forgot to mention they make amps and speakers too. i still have a set of comps and a 50x2rms amp. really solid amp, the thing weights more than most amps with the same or more power.

Even though I listened only for a short while it still sounded very good and balanced. :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup
