The main difference I see between today's libs vs conservatives is the left is determined to play these twisted logic games where no matter what you/Trump is wrong. (I think) that's why Rob keeps taking everything we post here and twisting into some other position. Take tariffs for example, they're either illegal and/or imploding the economy or if they don't happen, then they're a broken promise. Now lets look at Obama's deportations - no the right wasn't out there singing Obama praises, OTOH, the right didn't twist and distort logic or use Obama's record setting deportations to bludgeon him. I'm not saying Team Red is always virtuous - ie I think the Obama isn't a citizen shyt was pretty stupid. The stolen election rhetoric, which lead to J6 was pretty stupid. It think defending the J6 rioters (not insurrectionist) was pretty stupid.

It is an interesting position that if (super highly likely) that Obama "bent" the very same laws Trump is bending, it's dismissed. For some reason, he can't or more likely refuses to comprehend that the left is holding itself to a different standard regarding both legality and whether illegals immigrants should be ignored and thus the whole narrative they've created around Trump is nothing but a delusion they've created for the leftist masses. IOW, "they" don't care about the illegals or the letter of the law, they care about twisting the narrative to bludgeon Trump with it.
