I was serious. I am getting the iPod on the 25th. I didn't know if itunes offered a subsciption service like the zune does. I may just keep the zune service and continue to strip the DRM so I can use it on the iPod.

Don't use MS Office!

Use OpenOffice.org 3.0 instead.

Functions basically the same, but works much better (in my opinion). Most people I install it for are hard pressed to tell the difference.

The interfaces are tweaked slightly, some more formatting choices in 07, ability to save in an 07-specific format...

Basically, unless you're being forced to upgrade, I wouldn't.

The price differential between two good speakers and five good speakers can be big.

I know. I just don't see how you get that many iTunes gift cards. Then to settle for less than half? $400 for $1100 that you got as gifts?
