Wait wat? You can't swap head units on your own? Even my dumb *** can do that. You sure you're into audios?

A head has nothing at all to do with car audio.

A head is what houses the valves over the combustion chamber to an engine. It is, quite literally, the top half of an engine. I can probably get it off, but when we get the head off, we will be replacing everything from the head gasket up...all new seals and gaskets. Also replacing the water pump and timing chain since we are in there.

You need a wi-fi connection to access the internet. I do not live nor work in a place that has one. So I'd have to drive/find a place where wi-fi works. I don't see the point of buying a $350 mp3 player when the apps don't work unless I am in a wi-fi hotspot.

I thought you meant the head unit as in the receiver.

Most of the apps work without Wifi. Apps like instant messaging obviously need wifi but games and all that other crap do not need internet access. The 16 gig touch goes for $299. IMO it's worth it over the nano.

The problem is, att sucks balls. If Alltel/Verizon would've gotten ahold of the iphone, I would've went that route then the touch.

But the only one that seemed interesting require wi-fi. I just don't want to buy it and it not work. It may very well work...I just have to find someone else buy it first to see. Like the resturant one would obviously need GPS...and since you have the nets, you have google maps like GPS. I am not saying the touch is crap, I just fear it won't work.

3. I considered the classic, but I am also using this to work out. Thus, bulkiness is somewhat of an issue.

Well for the liability of the iPhone, you'd have to. You need to tell your employer that you need one. Worked for me.
