Once you add a mortgage into the mix along with a car note or two you really start to feel it. It all really depends on your situation but if you want to live a normal life with a family, house, kid or two and a couple decent cars 50k on both sides is about what it takes go get by and still have some savings.

I can do that with 50k by myself. I don't have the security I want though. I think with 3x the income and keeping obligations flat, I will be safe.

No, I jumped off the baller lifestyle some time ago.
Which brings me to my next bit of advice. Spend your resources doing rather than buying. 20 years from now you will not spend very much time remembering what a nice couch you had. However, you will never regret saving money for a 3 week tour of Europe.

Would never call myself a genious. Remember this is just a hobby for me.

That's why the paralegal route isn't the last stop. It will be used as a stepping stone to fund more ambitious goals. It will also get me into a good networking environment for these ambitious goals. I am also attracted by it's projected growth and stability. At this point in my life I am weighing stability much more than starting pay. Hell, I was making more as a plant manager than most paralegals do, but you can see where that got me lol.
I really do "want" to do the nursing route. The prospects seem to be the best of any field. Growth is amazing and stability along with the chance of taking it to higher levels and making good monies. I just don't want to find myself getting into the middle of that goal and learning that I just can't get over some of the things that go with it. This field really is at a balance on the scale for me.

You need a real goal to shoot at. I hate to be a jackass, but you are using a lot of words, but ain't saying much. People without direction use words like goals and networking. People who want to do "x" talk about doing "x"...ambition and networking and all that jazz are just a part of the ride...almost sub consciously.

Unless you are a coward like me...I think I would like to do somethings, but will be too afraid to try.

Well, to date a girl I would have to find her physically attractive. No question about it. Sure there are other qualities that need to be there, but I can't date someone I'm not attracted to.

As for a friend, unfortunately it seems like if I want to go out and do stuff with someone just as friends, they should be attractive too. They must also not be a total retard.

Skyline chili is really soupy, and has a strong cinnamon taste to it. It's very, very, very different from any other type of chili I've tasted, especially southern chili which tends to be real thick and a ton of meat.

Ya, radiography looked like a good route to consider, besides what I have mentioned already, but then I hear of so many going to that field which makes me worry about it being flooded by the time I get out.

There are millions of financial analysts in the world. That doesn't stop me nor anyone else I know....I believe I am more capable than they and can prove it. It doesn't matter how many people are running in the race if you are better than them.

Flooded is an understatement. Your two choice are in the right direction for job security though. People getting sick/hurt and lawsuits aren't going anywhere anytime soon.

Yes that is why they are basically my 2 biggest considerations right now. Something tells me I need to bite the bullet and do nursing. For one the schooling is cheaper than my long term ambitious goal of the other route. I may end up pouring a lot of money into school for the goal only to end up marginally ahead in salary.

Marginally ahead and salary, but there are other benefits as well.
