A friend of mine is currently doing the same sort of thing. He was the manager of the biggest car audio shop in my hometown area. Now he's taking classes and working part time at a call center.

I'd like to work in a warehouse actually.Not as a career or anything but something for the time being. But, none of the job boards( ie, monster,snagajob,etc) are posting anything of this nature. I'll get on my newspaper grind today though.

I worked there for a couple months when my hours got cut at Lowe's to make ends meet. Well, I didn't have very many expenses then, I just get worried about money too easily.
If you work in a professional area, you might have to shave every day.

My job was different...it was more about drunks and college kids throwing up in parking lot / floor / store etc and I'd have to clean the shit up. I also got to meet several prostitutes. I wouldn't call it a low point in my life by any means and wasn't a bad job at all really. I had no supervisor, as no one wants to be there from 10am to 7am when I worked. As long as everything was cleaned up...no issues. I hope one day I run for office and someone accuses me of being elitest. I can then ask them how many times they have undercut a wetback when seeking employment.

Sounds like a character building job to me. I have had some rat *** jobs in my time, but that sounds like it beats them all.

No, I have bigger plans for other things. The impala has to wait til end of february, thats what i planned originally though, so no big change.

true, kinda. I dont know about pepsi, but coke was on a hiring/raise/promotion freeze since July, which from what I hear is still going on.

Never hurts to try though. You do get mad overtime.

It wasn't that bad at least I don't think. If that job paid what this one did, I'd rather do that. Honestly, the worst part of the job was watching TNT movies over and over again. I swear, that whole network has about 5 clint eastwood movies and that's it.

I'll look into it. The pepsi and coke plants in my hometown always stayed fully staffed because so many people were actually TRYING to work there. But, I'll def look into them.

I dont particularly mind long days. I only worked my traveling job for about a month, but I worked 12-18 hour days 5 days a week. And the other 2 were spent traveling. So its all good.

What are you taking up in school?

Well i have a plan but I am seriously still toying with so many other directions. I may need WSW guidance. My original plan was to gain an A.S. in Paralegal studies. Try to obtain a job with that and continue toward another degree while working.
Of course right now I am flooded by so many other ideas as well and need to figure out how to evaluate all the decisions and pick one. Like nursing for example. The growth of that field and stability look so promising but I would have to work on getting over shit that disturbs me and I will more than likely see.

So I have pretty much shut down that option just because I don't think I could break myself of that problem.

I actually love history.

There are several reasons I recommended coaching. Obviously your background. Kids usually do not screw with coaches as much, because they know the coach will run their ***** off if they do. Easy lesson plans. There is also usually sort of a fraternity of coaches where the older ones run interference for the assistants(their goal is to make life as easy as possible for their assistants so that they will have more time to devote to the sports program.)

yeah right nga, im penny pinchin like shit. I keep havin bad things happen, so I spend less nowadays. Im just now getting back to making what I used to make, if you remember what that was. And I am working on something big this year, which is going to take a bunch (not 50k) of money.
