I just got back from coon hunting (the animal with the rings on its tail). Pretty fun hearing the dogs run and then listening to them tree. Didn't get any coons..One coon hid in his den and didn't come out. Dude i was with unloaded his .22 pistol up into the hollow tree. I lol'd.

The funniest thing happened though.. Our last stop his dog treed at a hollow tree the guy had just killed a coon at a few months ago. We thought the coon was in the tree so we proceeded to beat the shit out of the dead tree, slowly tearing away rotting chunks. Then a rat runs to the top of it! I busted that mofo with the .17. He said it was the first time his dogs have ever treed a rat. I am proud of my trophy. Wish we would have had a camera to take a pic.

I will definitely be going back. Beats sitting at home on a week night. Had to cross 2 big creeks via fallen logs. Added plenty of excitement.

I would put more stock in the reg IP as well.

Is it possible to bake a steak? I have some steaks to cook. I can cook them in a pan on the stove, but looking for other suggestions.

I don't like it one bit. Way too easy to ruin it. It can end up being jerky in no time.
