I just received a call to schedule the final free inspection of my pool. Apparently the 3yr warranty is up on all the hardware. So that means everything will take a shit on it this year.

All my pentair hardware had 3yr from mfg. Most things cosmetic or wearable including their shitty ray vac had 1 year. The shell/concrete construction has a 10yr from builder.

Perhaps they changed it. I am not going to argue the fact with Patio Pools though, because I have been concerned for about 3 months that the pump may have issue. Every once in a while it makes a noise that sound like a bad bearing. Hopefully it does while the inspector is here.

Only if I can join you. I will need a few drink to get in though. One reason is the pool is sitting around 60*, the other reason is I feel better about my manhood when i got a buzz going.

Things like pump lids, gaskets, orings, pipes and the like have NO warranty as they're classified under 'Wear & Tear Items'.

Usually filter housings get a 1-5 year warranty depending on the manufacturer. Motors and the like ALL get 1 year.

Sounds like a fair compromise.

That water is pretty cold so I think we'll both have to do a heavy amount of drinking.

Argue that with my distributor, not me. I am going by their paperwork.

I do know what the wearable items are(not my first pool). I am not concerned with those. My filter housing is 3yr along with the rest of my pentair products. There is no leaking or calcium built up on my motor but it will squeal sometimes. So hopefully it does when he is here and we can get that replaced.

I know you sell these things through PaP, but my distributor has me down for 3rs on all the hardware outside of the wearable items you mentioned. I don't care where the warranty comes from, but it is fact. For all I know it could be their own warranty that they give or an extended that was worked into the price of the pool.
