Teh sun has starts to come ip and i isijust got home. Serious progres swas made tonighnt though. This girl that I've always thought was super sexy... her roommate invited me over and we talked for awhile. Not me and te rooommate, but me and teh sexy one.

I just realized this has mo point since you all are probably asleep since it is 515 in the morning

I don't spill stuff on it. I believe the stains come from two places.
1. Tracking in the kitchen (where shoes are allowed) to the living room (where they aren't) somehow dirt from the kitchen gets on my socks or something and then I track it in the living room. I am not sure what I can do to remedy this.

2. When the cat gets sick, she vomits on the floor. Sometimes it comes up cleanly, sometimes it doesn't.

Then there is this black marks from the rug dr that never came up.

But you are right...this carpet cleaning is only temporary. But I am sure the laminate flooring has its issues...I just don't know what they are quite yet.
Not sure if anyone has really touched on this yet. I have laminate in the house (Pergo - fake wood) The only issues I have seen so far is that dirt and debris shows up on it rather easily, especially when the sun hits it at an angle. If there is water on the floor for a prolonged period of time, the edges turn up slightly and looks bad if you know where to look. This is why we now have a placemat for my dogs water bowl. For reference I sweep/mop my floors probably 3 times a week. With carpet, a good vacuum and a steam clean now and again makes it look good, but eventually the wear and tear on the pad and carpet threads will show up and the only way to really fix that is with new carpet/pad. Still, all that said, I would choose the laminate anyways. Although, if I was ballin, I'd probably pick up some 16"/18" tile. Had it in my last house, absolutely love it. Stanley steamer can even clean it for you!

Edit: Looks like people pretty much already said the same stuff. Still...go tile!
