I think that abortion thread is interesting. Tired, same ole, same ole debate. But how normal, sane people tend to take the position of "I don't want to force my views down someone else's throat" approach. I think that is a good position to have. I wish we could adopt it on other issues.

One advantage to an floating engineered wood floor is that it can be replaced very easily. Had to do some of that over Xmas break, in one of the rentals the tenants have always had dogs, and in places where they (the dogs, not the tenants //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif) pissed on the floor it had buckled. Was a simple matter of popping out the old pieces and fitting new ones.
I hate wall-to-wall carpet. If I ever buy a house with it, that's the first thing coming out.

Then they did a lazy job of it. If it's toenailed properly you can't see any nails.

wood is my favorite. tile is alright in kitchens and bathrooms. but wood is still a favorite. wood and carpets.

thats what im doing. cleaning up, cleaning up the tank making sure shits good. Heater seems a lil weak. Might end up getting a new one anyway.

etching it isn't much fun, but the staining process is relatively pain free. i suppose it depends on what you use, acrylics are cheap and easy now days though.
