No it wouldn't. It would be just as dry and boring as counting other peoples money. Money isn't as satisfying as good healthy relationships. I swear you grew up out in the jungle on your own or something.

You would probably be truly surprised at what makes some people get out of bed in the morning.

To each there own I say. As long as you arent harming anyone else of course.

You could always get a pre-nump though I think with kids you are probably fucked either way.

First, most girls are anti-prenup. Second of all, if you don't trust enough to go without a pre-nup, why try at all?

I just hated the idea when I was in a relationship that any day I could find out she was cheating on me and all my invested time and effort was for nothing. This would be many times worse if I was married and family was involved.

Consider being in love. Do people put much thought into how vulnerable that feeling makes them? They are putting their emotions at risk for some trollup to do what she pleases with. I can't say I am a big fan of that.

Of course they are aware of the risk. Ive been in love. Its part of it. I look at life differently than you though, so the comparison would be invalid.

There is. But it takes a certain person. Nothing is ever all or nothing in this day and age. Except death of course, but since that is also the only certainty in life it cancels out.

If you are truly happy in your life being single and not taking 'emotional' or any other kind of risk then by all means go for it.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I totally agree. If this is what gets flip by each day then so be it. I personally just can't understand it. Knowing that were are extremely social animals, it baffles me how some people get this sort of view. I don't expect Flip to change or do things the way I would. Everyone has to figure out there own way in the end.

I trust money more than I do people. I understand it and can model it. I understand if I accumulate a certain sum, I can exchange it for something else. People on the other hand, do not follow such rules. If people were as consistant as money, the world would be a great place.
