How do you mount the box in the middle of the wall?
The coverplate thing is fine, everything else fine. Mounting that box...I have no idea and there is nothing to which to mount it.

It needs to be mounted to a stud. Cut the hole for it, insert(lol I said insert) the box, hammer it in with the nails(usually 2 nails) it comes with.

Not necessarily. There are junction boxes at lowes that do not need to be mounted to studs. Just ask one of the electrical employees.
