No, not really. I have a 500w BASH. My HT sub kicks ***. It is a Dayton Audio 15". I really like it. My mains, not so much.

Im probably going to buy a new pair of Magnepans still. For $550, I cant see where id be going wrong. Then for the sub amp, either a Nikko Alpha or Adcom 555. Im going to use that Mach 5 SPL 12" proto I have for the sub. I think it should rock.

yeah I like the look of that sealed back midrange/open baffle.

Im still somewhat intrigued by the maggies though. Ive heard alot of good reviews on them too, and their return policy is awesome.
