I am saying they are barking up the wrong tree. This is an exercise in futility.

That I won't disagree with. There really is no sense in asking these questions because as you stated, these people answer to no one.

I however am one with possibly a minority of people who is not afraid of this chaotic collapse that you painted. I really hate seeing this money go to any of them.

I agree, I do not believe any sort of apocolyptic scenerio is possible if the banking industry fails. Im all for "let em fail, and pick up the pieces afterwards and figure out a new methodology out of the ruin".

Its not going to be like friggn Max Max Beyond Thunderdome or some shit.

The corporations are different.
If GM fails, I cannot buy GM cars.

If the banking sector fails completely, I cannot pay my mortgage, cannot go to the grocery store, etc. We are reduced to barter.

They aren't different in my or many other peoples eyes. They are Corps and their purpose is to make money. Their power and ways of making money may be different but ultimately they aren't.

I see no reason to hol the BIG 3 accountable but not them.

Furthermore, Congress does not have the expertise to track the expenses the same way they can manufacturing. They simply don't. NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg expressed this on CSPAN the other day. He said, they will never be able to really regulate the financial sector, as the best and brightest work for the financial sector, being regulated by the "C" students who don't give a shit.

I don't believe it would be Mad Max either. I am sure it would **** righteously in the beginning, but my life would continue and I'd make the best of it I could as I always do.

I don't have any skills that would be useful in an economic and political collapse. I am not big and strong so I can't do hard labor, nor am I a female that can sell her pvssy. In the event of economic collapse, what service do you have that could be traded for food, guns, shelter?

You have a brain. Some would say a high level of intelligence. You'd figure out how to adapt. If not then maybe someone close would have compassion to help you.
I don't readily have skill I think would help me in your scenario either, but I am not afraid of it. I believe I have the intelligence to adapt and overcome for the sake of self preservation.

Yea man. I'm gonna try and find a fulltime job. Although, i think that it wont be one of the easier things that i've tried to pull off in my life.

There are plenty of places for me to continue education in Richmond its just a matter of me getting the financial means to pay for it.

Because the people are not wanting to take the time to understand. I think if they didn't get a paycheck for a month because there where no banks, then they might get the point.

Like I said, I am probably in a minority that understands there is a small possibility of your scenario, but is not afraid.

I don't think this is a reason to let a corporation keep getting money with no accountability of how they use it. It only enables this behavior pattern.

Again, the idea wasn't merely to survive, but to preserve a standard of living.

Maintain a standard of living? They come and go. My standard has been up and down a few times. Shit happens. I go down and bounce back up. I don't see maintaining a standard that important. I'd rather hold people in power accountable and give up some comfort.

What would they do with the information? Say JPM said they spent the money on coke and hookers. What then?

Well now that we'd cross that bridge when we came to it. It still doesn't mean they shouldn't have to while others do.
