Being helpful or polite or "nice" in CT is not a requirement so that is irrelevant. However CT does have pecking order and rank. It is unwritten but mostly understood. The fact that you can't grasp this makes you non CT.

Mostly being the key word. I can plainly see who is posting... but I can also see some crap about "I have two yes votes... now I'm waiting on more!" crap, as well.

Make it plain, then reference to it either prior or during a vacation.
