I was looking at a 42" Samsung for $630. With tax it would be about $670 out the door and I can get 6 months deferred interest. That would be a little over $100 a month. Still deciding.

No. I have two TVs. I would need a DVD player for the BR ( I currently don't have one) and for $30, even if it doesn't upconvert well it will do the job.

Me thinks I didnt think hard enough.

I'm still not sure if I'm going to need a 1080p TV. All I have is the PS3, which does well enough in 720p.
