I considered building a 3 way front stage subless. Problem with that is I carpool. It would require me to build out and them inconsiderate jackoffs would stomp the shit out of door pods. I had this issue when I built door pods for my cutlass.
I want something that will go more or less in the stock locations.

Though with how trucks are laid out, they don't usually do to well in SQ since your head is so close to the ceiling and the speakers are usually blocked by your leg if you do door pods or kicks.

Where would one go to find someone reliable to make some kicks? I would really like some for my XB but they do not seem to be made my any factory and with people here I worry it will be something that they will never finish and will end up being a disaster.
Also what does a good set run? Maybe $2-300?? Not sure as I have never priced them really.

I paid $235 for my Rainbow SLCs...I consider them low-mid level..But i haven't heard a top set of components... I mean, they get loud and sound good, but I expected louder and sounding good. I don't know if I just expect a great component set to keep up with my former 147dB and sound good or what.. but I am thinking $500 for a "good" component set. I will probably spend it next summer.

My s-10 is lowered 2/3 and I don't have TOO many issues. The only real time I bottom out is if I hit a big bump on the highway. On the rebound the skid plate under the oil pan hits the pavement.

Other than that it's pretty ok.

I couldn't imagine my truck with a 4/5 drop. I can barely fit a pop can under the frame now.
