Yep, touched on this earlier, people want a flat panel tv, but end up either putting it on a standard sized stand, or getting a stand for all of their a/v equipment.
Doesn't make much sense.

i bought my lcd cuz it was cheap. It sits on my dresser.

Because of AV equipment, I am not going to mount on wall. So either way, I am buying a stand.

That's awesome. About fricken time. When they returned them did they do that via email and make their comments on the document using the editing functions inside Word?

Yes. You would get back the paper with the correct and the grading rubric.

Can you see the full screen of a DLP standing from an extreme angle to the side of the TV like a LCD?

Extreme angles...not really. One of the big drawbacks of a DLP. But viewing on a not-so extreme angle is fine.

I don't really have a bias on any type of TV- if I were shopping for a TV, I'd find the best deal on a good tv, no matter what technology it is.

I remember when color was standard.

The footprint also gives you a spot for your equipment right? With an LCD I'd still have to get a cabinet approximately equal to the footprint of a DLP in the end I'm thinking.

No, its because I havent been granted my security clearence yet because I have to attend a class at Fort Gordon in early Janurary. So I cant access anything till I take the class. Its retarded.

Every class I have taken the past couple years that was not online was paperless. Now they have "myclassroom" where you can access your course syllabus and any document online. The only difference now between online and in class is dragging your *** to class. You still interact with the professor using phone conferencing or live voice chat online.
