None of his acts, in my opinion, demonstrate leadership or systematic thought toward (here) white superiority. They seem to demonstrate a sense of need for attention that people give him (myself included). I believe if racism didn't prompt the reaction that it does, he would chose another method to get attention. Can you not see the difference? Racism is only a vehicle or mechansim for attention, not a systematic belief system.

Also the power is shifting. The 'white man' doesnt have complete power anymore. The problem before was the 'black man' didnt have entrapanural and financial skills to make their money work for them. This is no longer the case. More and more black people are gaining power with their money.

Of course, it is only logical to try to perpetuate power, or seek to acquire it. Blacks do this through social activism, whites do it by controlling capital. As long as whites control capital...they do not need activists.
With that said, I have a strong belief that for most whites, given the choice between making a buck and perpuating "white power", they'd chose making a buck. Consider Obama's election...he was given much more positive media relations than McCain...that is fact. He made them money, thus the support. Do you think McCain would pull any kind of audience in post-election interviews? Absolutely not, not even close. The media outlets (controlled by white people) are more interested in making a buck than perpetuating some "agenda".

or take the buck and hide their racism, while taking subtle shots and making snide comments. Such comments that DH, icetee and tons of members of this and other forums do. Youve seen it, dont try to say you dont.

Racism is the attiude the majority feels about the minority. Well, I guess the correct way to phrase this is the "perception of the minority of the feelings of the majority about the minority"

For some reason, I don't take the racial comments by forum members seriously. I honestly believe most are doing it to get a rise out of people, or they are unable to articulate how they really feel. Also, I don't see how the media "hiding their racism" is even comparable in scale or scope to some punk kid tapping away on his or her keyboard.

I believe that these "punk kids" type how they truly feel and just hide behind keyboards.
