but i have no way of proving it, so i guess that makes me a scammer by default

im not too worked up about this whole thing because i have much more important problems to worry about currently

ill try to call the post office tommorow while they are actually open, but they already told me 3 months, which obviously wasnt true, so i dont see me getting any usefull info out of them

I am selling a Toshiba laptop that is in near mint condition but has one problem with it. The power output jack came un-soldered and needs to be replaced. The part is 5 dollars from ebay and is a 5 minute fix, The power pin inside the power jack on the laptop came un soldered. So You will need to solder on a new one. VERY EASY. I am only asking 275 shipped for this laptop and its a great working laptop. Please feel free to make a offer.

NO. I have had to do this with two laptops now and it is a complete pain in the ***.

Tell him you'll give him $25 to get the part and fix it before shipping! I am always skeptical about buying anything thats 'Just a $x part' away from being perfect. Are you good with electronics? If he won't do that maybe he will ship first and you can pay him when it works after that fix.
Also Celeron 2.8 is slow as shit, I have one running here right next to me and it has 768MB of RAM and runs like a ****ing dog on XP (or anything for that matter) and I also bought it like 4+ years ago.

If you can find a P4 2.8 or better yet a Xeon model (not sure if they make laptops) it will make a night and day difference.

If it is so simple why don't they do it? I never buy those kind of things.
