I have a feeling I will be in a deerhunt situation shortly.
My friend's baby's mother is currently staying with his mother. In January, his brother gets out of jail, but cannot come in contact with minors, even if they are family. Thus, his baby's mother will have to move. I have a vacant room...and am betting I will get peer pressured into letting her stay at my place.

However, while I like my friend, I'd rather his kids not stay at my house. They do not have the concept of not touching/breaking my things. And there is no telling what kind of losers she will bring over.

I don't think there is no amount of money that would have me renting out my rooms. I trust my cat as a room mate...I dunno if I can trust an actual person.

Who is going to peer pressure you? Just say no and stick to it.

Did you have to sign anything? One of my mom's friends called her to bail her out, and they wanted to put a lein on our house for it. Mom said "Fuck that, you're on your own."

interesting theory. so that answers the question if she ever asks. not just no, but Hell No.

dont make my mistake and tell someone they can stay if they pay an ungodly amount in rent each month, did that with my mother in law, that backfired on me. now she pays 3/4 of the rent each month and i have to put up with her again.
