So last night was my best friend's 21st birthday. Went bar hopping and on the way home went through a road block. I was the DD and hadn't drank a lick. Cop asked if anyone had been drinking and I told him yeah, the other two guys in there with me. Asked if there were any containers, my friend told him no. Well he looks around and my friend had left a Coors Light bottle in the pouch on the back of my seat from the VERY beginning of the night and he had a little under a half of a beer left in it. Cop asks whose it is, my friends don't answer. Pulls us over to the side of the road, gives me a breathilizer, friend confesses to the beer, and gives him a $300 open container ticket for a 4 hour old beer. (it wasn't the birthday boy's beer at least).

At least someone spoke up otherwise that cop could have made it your problem, then you would have had to beat some ***.

That is understandable. This is why I love crock pot dishes. There is quite a few good meals you can put in a crock and let simmer while you go to work. I use mine at least twice a week.

hell yeah, can make some good meals with crock pots. beef stew etc.

The funny thing is, we always make fun of this friend for "alcohol abuse", I.E. not finishing his drinks.lol..Well it cost him this time..I still wonder if he would have admitted to it being his if the cop wouldn't have wrote him a ticket. As soon as he said IDK i knew it was about to get interesting.

The cops in this town just turned into dickwads. There was a writeup in the school newspaper yesterday about the cops antics this past Sunday. They set up a roadblock at the edge of the city limits are wrote over 100 tickets Sunday for "importing beer into town on a Sunday". Apparently it is illegal and not many people knew it. Sunday alcohol sales are banned, so everyone just drives to the next town 10 minutes away to buy it. Well last night we saw their 3rd DUI victim in 45 minutes get his sh1t towed away. Tis crazy.

Indeed. It is one of the items that will be replicated if me and teh gf move in together....so it requires a lot of forethought. Very similar to the washer/dryer problem.

See, but that is expensive. It ~$60/mo for public storage...

Worth it though in the event that the relationship goes south after the move in and you need these things.

Also 60/mo seems high. You sure that isn't for climate control? When i used one it was 40/mo for a 10x10 no climate control.
