guess you weren't a fan of Roger Waters style of music then eh? That's when it was mostly Gilmour doing the writing. Brilliant album but Waters made a good quote a long time ago. "There's a difference between Dark side of the moon and blank." "People just don't get it."

I forgot what album he was talking about. It was the first album that was without him though. But he's right. Rogers was more of an artistic and story telling, theater style. Where as Gilmour just writes. Not knocking either of them because they are both brilliant just what he said was so true. Huge difference in the music and how it's sequenced after rogers left. It's just not very story telling as a whole.

Waters is definitely my favorite, but there's nothing wrong with Gilmour.

Syd Barret wasn't really my style though.
