My mother board on my desktop literally melted, so I bought a laptop and have no use for the monitor. It's a Samsung 20" LCD widescreen.

Well. In a stucco house with barely any attic, how does the duct work go? And will one of those $4000 A/C wall units that have the outside piece to it worth it?

TBH I wouldn't think that it is worth that price for the outside unit. Is it a small house? If it is then there would be a small unit such as a 2-2.5 ton unit. And you really don't need as much room as you think for duct work, you can squeeze a good bit in a small area. After the control unit is in the attic though, you might not have much room left if you planned on storing stuff up there, but for a small unit like a 2-2.5 ton, it's not really that big to begin with.

Yeah that'd be alot easier than me trying to give him advice over th interwebs when I don't know the exact layout of the house. It shouldn't be much for an estimate and for them to come out and look at it. In fact, it should be free, but don't quote me on that.
