Well, my group of friends realized one of our friends within the circle treats his girlfriend like absolute shit. Even though when they broke up about a month ago, he's the one that really wanted to stay with her. He's so damn insecure with himself and their relationship, I don't think he sees what he's doing.

Can't decide whether it's my place to say anything to him or her. She's a real nice girl and doesn't really deserve the crap she's catching.

No, I don't think he's cheated on her. Probably part of the problem imo. He has absolutely no game at all and was lucky as hell to get with this ugly *****. If they broke up, he'd never find another girl.

So now he basically controls her in the relationship. Won't let her do anything. Pretty much a case of the guy treating the chick as crappy as she'll let him.

He always treated her like shit and she ended up having a kid with him and they stayed together for a few years while I knew him until he went to jail for stabbing his ex-gf 18 times.

My suggestion would be to just keep to yourself, I don't think there is ever a time to tell a man how to deal with his woman and regardless you will probably loose both of them as friends for even bringing it up.

Now if you are trying to get them to break up so you can bang her that is a different story.

She probably has really shitty self confidence thus lets him push her around. For my friend (the girl) I felt bad for and she was decent looking (enough to pull pretty much any guy she wanted) but I think sometimes they just need to ride it out and either learn themselves or not.
If you have another girl that could talk to her that might work, that way if anything it does not fall back on you.

Yup. I'd agree with that. I don't know any of the girls she hangs out with, but this does sound like the best idea, other than keeping my mouth shut altogether.

Lord forbid, if he starts doing anything else besides talking down to her, him and I aren't going to be the best of friends anymore.
