In other news, I think I am about to pull the trigger on a BA G5.

Which reminds me of another stupid audio shop story. I happened to be going by one the other day and dropped in because I know they carry BA.

They had a G5 on display, but the first thing the guy siad was that it only had about 175 watts running to it. The box it was in was a prefab, it looked way too small and the guy had no idea what it was tuned to. WTF, why even bother?

 
my overall goal is 325 on bench (and id like to weigh 225ish)


i do craploads of cardio

heres my explosives day:

:goes to HS track and field)

:puts on 100lb weight vest:

full speed sprints up stadium X's 10

lunges up stadium X's 10

Frogs up stadium X's 10

:takes off weight vest:

:goes down to field and switches Tennis shoes for cleats:

20yd sprint X's 10

40yd sprint X's 10

60yd sprint X's 10

80yd sprint X's 10

100yd sprint X's 10

:goes to track and switches cleats out for tennis shoes again:

200m sprint X's 4

400m sprint X's 2

:goes back to stadium and puts on weight vest:

calf hops up steps (3 sets for 3 minutes)

all that takes 1-1.5 hours and i do it once a week
that's a **** intense workout and I see why you would only want to do that once a week. all I've been doing for cardio is jogging 2 miles, 3 times a week. That's the best I can do right now.

Nice work, I'm trying to make a comeback before college starts back up. I don't know what my max bench is, I don't like to gauge my strength on what I can lift once. I prefer to think of it in sets, I like to work out with about 225 in sets of 10. I need to measure my arms, last time (about a year ago) I was up to almost 16" biceps.
I can do 205 twice....I complete 5 reps on all of those sets(185, 195,205) it's just a couple of them I needed a little help, spot wise. My normal workout would probably be best around 165 or so though. when I do dumb bell flat bench press I use 70's. /shrug.

Injuries ****, they kill a workout program. Not that I have been on one anythime in the recent past.
they do man. One of my biggest regrets in life was leaving the gym. I spent nearly AN ENTIRE YEAR changing the way I looked just to piss it all away. By now, I bet I would be a very lean, muscular mother fuker.

I have been wanting to do sprints and stuff more than just jogging though. I may need to incorporate some of your stuff into my workout. And as far as that vest goes, my old workout partner uses one. I never got one, I may now though.

 
Man, you guys talking about working out is depressing the shit out of me. For some reason, my shoulders just started getting really bad even though I was taking it real easy on them, and now it's to the point I don't want to do any sort of exercise that involves shoulder rotation or load bearing, which is pretty much everything but calf extensions in my workout.
