Nice work, I'm trying to make a comeback before college starts back up. I don't know what my max bench is, I don't like to gauge my strength on what I can lift once. I prefer to think of it in sets, I like to work out with about 225 in sets of 10. I need to measure my arms, last time (about a year ago) I was up to almost 16" biceps.

I'm not a large guy, in fact I am kinda skinny, but I need to build my chest back up and lose my little gut. I used to be a pretty big guy when I played football, weighed 190 pounds a good bit of which was muscle, had a solid chest, little gut was still there, But it really didn't bother me as my upper body was pretty built.

Now, however, I can't say that. I weigh 162, and don't mind weighing that, but I wish it was from muscle instead of my gut and such. My upper body is still strong as well as my legs, but I need to work and tone up everything pretty much.

I didn't accomplish anything whatsoever, and I'll probably have to start from new when I do start weight training again. Good thing is though, is that I get to use LSU's gym for free, so maybe I'll find a partner to lift with and get some more muscle mass on me.

Shoulder injuries REALLY ****. They kill all upper body training. I have torn both rotator cuffs, and they never have been the same. When I do lift I have to be extremely careful or I risk hurting my shoulder and flushing all the gains down the toilet.

I am begining to think that I will never realize my dream of becoming a pro bodybuilder.

 
Back when I played football, I broke my collar bone and dislocated my shoulder tearing alot of the tendons. That is what finally caused me to have to quit the team as I was way behind compared to the other players.
riped my mcl in half (left knee) two games into the season... the next week i shattered my left pinky/cracked my jaw/possibly broke my nose/and tore the lebrum (sp?) in my left shoulder

still dunno how i they kept letting me play... i felt like a fvcking zombie

missed one game all season btw, and it wasnt due to injury

Tore my rotator cuff as well on the same shoulder. My right shoulder is pretty fucked. My collar bone actually sticks out 1/2'' or so on the end where it couldn't grow back right, and the only way to fix it would be to re-break it and screw it down.

Well, I have permanently damaged the cartilage in both knees so the doctors tell me, broke my nose, and all the other shit with my shoulder. That all happened during the same year lol.
