Couldn't bring myself to buy a new car....
Part of me wants to keep the truck just because another 50,000 miles isn't going to reduce the value that much.

It only makes sense for me. Although it might not now, because everyone is getting the deals I did, just so they can move cars. I also like as much warranty as possible. I trade cars when the warranty is nearing expiration.

Try what I do. Continue to make promises and then just break them all. That way she has low expectations.

You are correct to an extent, but I do have some logical thinking to much of my madness. If I couldn't get good discounts on new, then I would look at 1-2 year old used autos.

I just did the wifes back splash this past weekend. Bish NEEDED the tiles to be diagonal. ****ing bish just wanted to make it hard on me.
