I still spend it even if it is pending as credits come before debits.
yeah but wamu doesnt let you. If its pending its in yellow and the funds are not available. Its just showing that the funds will be released soon. You ledger and avalable balance will not include the not yet released funds. So if I had $500 in the account and I went to the store and spent $520 it would be declined. right?

I think I know what you are saying about spending it because the debits take a few days to actually be charged, thats how wachovia was.

However I always use debit whenever I can. I like it to be instant.

I saw a Wrangler with Type-R stickers on it earlier and a fart can exhaust.
Pix or you are lying.

went this morning and signed my new contract. met head baseball coach. he asked me if i wanted to coach some football too. hell yeah!!
what it do!?!
How much cheeda you get for being a coach?

I need a new bank. Wamu is too slow. I didnt think any bank could be slower than wachovia, but I was wrong.
Slow how? I have used WAMU for years and never had a problem.

Not entirely correct. I can't speak for people with limited funds, but ballas such as myself can still make transactions while items are pending in 'yellow'. It has never stopped me. Hell, once everything cleared, if I was to be off, they'd just transfer funds from my savings account into my checking account for free. That actually happened to me last week when I made a 200 transfer and a 700 transfer in my books, but when I went online to wamu.com I forgot to do the 700 transfer and just did the 200 transfer.

Not that I will get mad or upset about losing $300. I just have to convince myself the money is gone before I enter.
It is.

How can one make a small wager when the minimum bet is 1/30th of the sum?
You will most likely be able to find $5 tables. That alone doubles it to 1/60th of the sum //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

I use Wamu for my VA and payroll checks. I have no savings account with them. My savings is in a different bank. I used to have Wamu before, but since they werent close I closed that account. I had $100 sitting there for 2 years almost. haha. Ive only had them a few months though, maybe 5?

When the transaction in my account are in the little yellow bar at the top, they arent available. I dont know, they just arent. They do not effect my availble or ledger balance until they have that plus. Then it goes gray, in which it changes the available balance but not the ledger balance. But even then each debit I make it moves the deposit up to the top above the rest of the debits, like its not part of the account. Then it turns white, which is when it effects the ledger balance. I dont know, I doubt our accounts can be that much different. I mean I got the cheapest(free checking) one, since I didnt plan on using this account for much.

Meh. Either way, it just takes too long for me. Im an impatient person. They definitely shouldnt be holding funds if i walk in the bank and deposit money. Whats there to verify? I handed the ***** my money. I dont make deposits to immediately use them either, I just dont carry cash on me.

My mother also didnt like Wamu for her mortgage. She never really said why though.

hahahaha
Before it's over, you will be the ones who become uncomfortable. Not because I think I will win, but I have the remarkable ability of removing the fun because I am so serious.

Not that I will get mad or upset about losing $300. I just have to convince myself the money is gone before I enter.
I dont think that will be possible.

and heh. dont do it flip. Take $50 and bet it on black then walk out, whether you win or lose. Just walk away.

Yes, when it is yellow it is pending approval to clear. Banks have never ever just credited an account because money appeared to be authorized. The deposits need to be verified and the checks need to clear. If they didn't do that, people could go up the the ATM and deposit an empty envelope and pretend there was 300 bucks in it, then they could turn around and withdrawl it all in cash.

This is also a way they protect themselves from scams like bad money orders.

Was it cash or was it a check. Why didn't you use the ATM?

Probable because they were the ones she had to pay every month. lawl

Oh come on, I know that much, im not that dumb(re: depositing in atm and people could withdraw it all as cash(scammers)). But Im not talking about depositing in the ATM. Im talking about payroll and my va direct deposits. Those are the ones that go yellow to gray to white. When I deposit cash to the Person Half is available immediately then the other half a few days later...just like when you do it at the ATM. I knew the reason they did it at the atm(for the reason you stated), but why would they do it at the counter when the person there is verifying the count? I caught it once when I looked at my receipt, cuz usually I dont.

ive never deposited a money order at any bank. I usually cash it then deposit the money.

Not sure what you meant by she had to pay every month haha. I dont get the joke. so....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
