Nice goal to keep.. The most important thing though is sticking to your running program.. I have had numerous people want me to get them on a workout program and such..I have came to the conclusion that the drop out rate on any exercise program is around 90%..Ran 1.5 mi in 12:45.
I am confident next year I can get it down to 9 minutes.
I know you probably know this, but just reinstating it. Stick with it, and you can accomplish it.
