So walk for a min/run for a min...but how much distance? Run as fast as I can then moderate jog?
Distance isn't really important, it's the intensity that you go about it.

You can do HIIT on any machine- treadmill, eliptical, stationary bike, works on any of them. I used to do it on the bike, but it killed my *** sitting on those things. Used to do around 6-7 miles overall.

Now, on the treadmill, I do around 2 miles or so.

x's 2 .... keeping your heart rate up is key
Yeppers.

What is a bus driver?
I dunno. I guess I am not on a very disciplined program. I get 1 hour to workout and I do what I feel like. I have a weight bench at home so I can lift free weights there. In the workout room, all we have is machines.
you talkin about the weight room at the rec center on campus?

i could have sworn i saw a few benches in there //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

I was talking about the distance between fast and slow.
You mean difference in speed?

That's all up to you. Do whatever you're comfortable with. I made the mistake of trying to go all out and kill myself from the get-go, and got shin splints from running too much/too hard.

It'll take a couple weeks to figure out what speed/distances work for you.

Here's a good read-

No. At my job. We get one hour three times per week.
I can go to the rec center once the fall hits.
i see... i went in the rec center a few weeks back... that bish is nice

buut.... if youve only got an hour and the workout your needing/wanting to do takes more time, get the essentials out of the way at your work (excercises you cant do elsewhere) and then do the other stuff (like cardio) done at ya crib

I think it is more the fact your items are too good for the masses here. They don't spend good money on these items. They will buy $600+ SPL subs but then supplement them with $100 Components or even worse some coaxs. Demographics are a bitch son.
That is true, I won't lie, I do enjoy having alot of bass, but I would also like to actually enjoy the music with a solid component set up front.

Then what would you do in that err 50 minutes. After getting dressed and I don't exactly get the whole hour because I am still working on things...
How long of breaks are you taking between sets?

Maybe look into a new routine, you might be able to cut back on workouts by substituting some isolated exercises with compound ones, which could save some time.

When I used to work out by myself, I could usually get my entire routine done and my HIIT in about 55 minutes or so.

wish i could get my routine done this fast... takes me 1.5-2 hours //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

but most would say what i do is rather complicated and over the top

I do what I can. I don't really know what I am doing and try to follow the pictures on the walls.
Do a couple minutes of warm-up on the treadmill, then jump off and stretch your hammies, quads, and calves. Then jump back on the treadmill and do your HIIT.

Check this out-

Online directory for just about every exercise, as well as stretches, broken down into muscle goups, and individual muscles. Very good resource for working out.

Well, I am listening.
What's your workout routine?

Jesus, that's a long *** time. You workout by yourself?

When I used to workout with my friend, we'd take around 2 hours or so. We had pretty extensive routines though.

Now, I have a very simple routine with minimal lifting. Primary focus is cardio now for me.

well you saw one of the running programs i posted a few pgs back... thats only my explosives program, i also have an endurace program...

and when i lift i single out muscle groups

upper back/shoulders

lowerback/hammys/quads/calfs

ish like taht

Edit: also have a stretching program

What I can, and have no problem doing is the some at work, some at home approach. I only have a weight bench at home, but I will probably get one of those balls to increase the amount of workouts I can do.
I like that site and it has a little vid on how to do the exercise.
The site is great. If you have time, look for the exercises you perform and see if they are isolated or compound. If they are isolated, see if you can find something that is compound that you can substitute it for.

There are plenty of isolated exercises that are great, but when time is a factor, you might be better off getting in compound exercises that will hit more areas of your body then a compound would.
