hmmm thanks for all the kind words Iam....you're making me sound like I'm a real bad guy here. Considering I did wonderful service for you whenever you let me borrow your mag and I insured it.
but trying to hold out on saying some bad things I'll try and type this as calm as possible.

I have already said I've taken responsibility for my g/f's brother being a fuking moron. That's been said so many times that it's getting fuking old.

Now, it is NOT my responsibility to check his local post office which I asked him to do right after I contacted the people(that was like 3 weeks ago or however long ago). He waited for forever to even do that, so I don't want to hear that this is entirely my fault. Whenever I first found out about the package taking so long, I called my local post office and the main headquarters the next day with very little help.

I really don't know what to do about this since there isn't a tracking number, only a receipt that has some stupid numbers on it and a proof of handing it over to them. I'll call them but I'm not sure what good they can do me since they didn't do a whole lot the first time.

also I am not refunding this package until we absolutely prove that is lost/stolen/whatever. The lady that I talked to originally said it took a month for a package to arrive to her and sometimes if they have to send it back it takes even longer.

I'm sorry for all this trouble syko, truly I am. If I could go back in time I would wait till I had gotten back from vacation to mail it out myself personally but instead I wanted it to get out the day we left and left it in the hands of the brother.

You get me wrong. For one I am speaking more general than anything on my thoughts. I don't care to get in the specifics about you and Sykos deal. I know you did good for me and I appreciate it, but it doesn't change my mind that a seller is responsible for the way shipping is handled. Especially in cases where tracking is not secured and insurance is overlooked. Anything beyond that is trivial details to me. In my eyes Syko should give you up to 3 more weeks to wait for info from USPS. Beyond that he is owed a refund, whether you feel there is proof to it being lost or not. The burden of proof falls on you, not him. This is why Paypal will always rule in favor of the buyer when tracking can't be produced by the seller. I agree with their assessment of that. Tracking and insurance aren't just for the buyer, they are to cover the sellers *** as well. The situation is unfortunate and you being a friend and me having a good transaction with you doesn't change my mind on how the situation should be handled.

I never said you were a bad guy, nor would I. I will say you exhibited poor judgment in this case and need to own up to it, if the package isn't found. It is as simple as that to me. I am not calling you a scammer or saying this was intentional. Shit happens. If you were in sykos shoes, how fair do you think it would be for you then?

You gave in too much. Paypal would not have ruled in favor of him in that case. I would have ran the insurance claim through UPS. If he didn't cooperate with them once initiated then he would be at the loss on it.

you can't please everyone, you can only try.

Of course I would have tried a partial refund just to save some face even though it wasn't warranted, but beyond that, you let yourself get hosed.

This is when I would have called UPS and started the claim. Then it would be in his hands. He wanted the shit and his money back. I agree he was shady. Anyone who truly felt slighted would have let that claim go through. I would have taken the negative comments and so called bad feedback and walked on. He was a shithead.

I'm not in Chicago anymore. It was some Holiday Inn. I believe is was on or near Cicero street. Their were some shady looking fellows patrolling the streets at night.

I feared more for my life in Chicago then in Detroit. Yes Chicago is cleaner then Detroit and they managed to do a good job funneling all the poor into one area, but Detroit's crime is not random crime. It stems from poverty. People deal drugs to make money. Drug deal goes bad and homie gets shot. In places like Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, you have much more gang warfare who shoot you for entering their territory. Detroit doesn't have very many gangs. In Detroit if you mind your own business, they won't kill you.

It is exactly the same in Chitown. You are just blind by your ignorant loyalty to a shitty industrial city. I managed to live just fine in the shadiest of areas there without being killed.

1st time I ordered something I wasn't even sure if UPS would deliver it out here, I went on and bought something really cheap and gave them the address I gave you to see if it would be delivered, amazingly it was delivered

I bought a box off regal8r, asked him specifically to ship UPS, dumbass ended up shipping Fed Ex, yea he gave me the tracking number, I wasn't even sure if they would deliver it out here, somehow it got here
