Sure, you can play one night easily on $300. You could go the 4-8 route (in which case it would be more than enough or play no - limit with $300 (which is what I buy in for when I play NL).

go to partypoker.net and play the NL holdem sit and go free tournaments. It's fvcked up because there is nothing to lose, but you can get an idea. My advice is not to even play the first couple of hands no matter what you have. 3-4 people will go all in like morons.

I do, its just what im used to I guess. it depends on the type of laptop though. Or like the comptuer i bought for my mom, a keyboard that is like a laptop keyboard.

Dell and toshiba had the ones i liked.
